About me

I graduated  in Japanese studies at the University of Warsaw.

I am passionate about painting and I look for my inspiration mainly in nature. In painting, I try to express it not only with colors that are unusual for nature, but also with the structure of the image. In order to bring out the spatial nature of my paintings, I often use such materials as: wooden sticks, stones, which I fuse with canvas. This adds extra expression to my images.

I create mainly with acrylic paints on canvas.

In my paintings I often use gold, silver, white and blue. The gold color is particularly close to me because it refers to the Japanese art I am interested in. The use of gold was a means of expression in Japan in both secular and religious art. It was used to decorate screens, furniture, lacquer and metal products, fabrics and ceramics.
